SPORTSCOACHING & MINDTRAINING.

I work with sportscoaching and mindtraining giving athletes and coaches a better life in sport.

WHAT I DO.

I help out if you are struggeling. With performance, competitions, or with life itself. It means you could be an athlete, parent or a coach.

I work most of my time with people in the performance field and with athletes and coaches with a motivation to improve. I focus on coaching and support to develop independency, toughness, calmness and self-confidence. Sharing knowledge on mental techniques is part of it.

HOW I WORK.

Depending on you or your situation. Mostly I do coaching talks in my office or at the range/sportsfield.

In online sessions I have some cornerstones in my work.
1. Your need is the background for our work. If you need to understand mindtraining we do that. If you need more technical training and coaching in that direction. That is what we do.
2. Basic models to explain or teach to get a performance change or development.
3. Sharing experience when it comes to excercises and training sessions.
4. Sharing experience on how to make an easy action plan. Giving out exaples and staying close to the process so in the end the shooter or the coach has a direction (plan) for cgetting to the next level.

About Coach Anne.

Building strong athletes, coaches, squads and prepare them for championships is my passion in sport.  Strategies, planning and following up, is part of the work and what I am prepared to do.

I came from a island in the west coast of Norway.  After 17 years I travelled to Denmark to learn more about sport and my Olympic experience started.  Today I have many years of experience from high performance sport as an Olympic athlete, Paralympic leader, and Olympic coach.

My history in sport started many years ago. High performance athlete, technical trainer, head- and performance coach.  All with a considerable responsibility, decision-making duties, and co-creations.  High performance coaching and training in Norway, Scotland, Denmark, Finland and India the last 8+ years has been a journey I thought should be only a dream, but I made it happen.

Before my Scotland years, I started on a humanistic coach education program.  It was a great development for me to integrate coaching into my work.  Life changed, sport became more, coaching became different, the work and co-creation with the athletes not like before.  Work was still challenging, but the struggle changed. Scores improved.

Every day I try to remember how it all started. How it was to be a young athlete or coach.  I promised myself once to be the coach and the coach trainer I needed myself.  I promised myself to put the athletes first and work tirelessly to develop the culture of training. Always remember the necessity of high motivation.  Building culture, adapt goals, developing the feeling of mastering and the sense of being part of something meaningful!

Today I am looking back on history with joy and take the best parts with me into the co-creation with athletes and coaches.

As a top athlete, Olympic participant and EM-winner in shooting, I early began to look for solutions to find out how to get optimise my shooting through mental training and cope with competitive pressure. I experienced very positive results by adding technical and mental training into each session. Never a session without focusing also on the mind side!

The book “mental training in shooting” is a result of this work.

As a coach, I have worked both with national teams and individual athletes - I find great joy in working with young athletes, lower level shooters and coaches. My perspective and my way of working are nevertheless the same!

Giving 100% and remember how it was to be a young shooter or coach.
